ST JAMES PRESCHOOL
St James Preschool was established by All Saints Anglican Church Balgowlah in 1984 to support the local community in the care and education of children aged between 3 and 5 years of age. For more than 35 years the preschool has provided outstanding service and has a high reputation with the community and local schools, in preparing children with school readiness and life skills.
At St James our goal is to develop the foundations for education of young children through building resilience, resourcefulness, reciprocity and reflectiveness within a caring and nurturing environment.
Our highly qualified, experienced and committed teachers provide a quality-inclusive play-based preschool program across two class groups for children aged from three to five years during school terms.
Set next to the serene bushland at Tania Park, Balgowlah Heights, our open indoor and outdoor spaces provide ample opportunity for play, creativity, relationship building and active learning.
We embrace the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) as part of the National Quality Framework (NQF). Furthermore, St James Preschool has met the National Quality Standards (NQS) accreditation across all 7 quality areas.
