SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
Every term each class experiences a variety of incursions that extend their learning. These activities add interest and excitement to the normal preschool routine. Here are some examples of special visitors to the preschool over the last few years.
- Our Community
Understanding the world around us. The children received visits from community service groups such as Fire & Rescue and the NSW Police Force and cultural group educators eg Aunty Wendy of the Guringal people.
- Science and Discovery
Understanding how things work and grow. The Hatch’n’Grow program where chicks or ducklings hatch at the preschool, CSIRO Kids Science and Experiment Show and the Reptile Man.
- Creative Arts
Children engaged with and experienced a variety of music, instruments and dance from different cultures.
